1 Grace Memorial, New Hampshire Ave., built 1928
Turn left from New Hampshire onto Fort Ave. Continue on Fort, pull over about one block past the 7/11 store on Fort Avenue.
2 Epiphany Church, 1878 to circa 1900. Corner of Fort Ave & Marsh St. Site of Epiphany Church above concrete steps to Little League Baseball field.
Continue on Fort, turn right at traffic light beyond fire station. Turn left at next traffic light onto 12th Street. Continue on 12th to Court Street and turn left up the steep hill. Stop in the second block, which is the 1000 block of Court Street.
3 1007 Court Street, site of Anglican Church 1767-1776
Continue on Court to 8th Street, turn left and go one block, turn right onto Clay Street. Go to corner of 7th & Clay Sts.
4 St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, built 1895.
Continue on Clay Street to 5th Street, turn right onto 5th and continue to Main Street traffic light, turn left onto Rivermont Ave. Continue on Rivermont to Cabell Street and turn right. Continue on Cabell to the block past C Street.
5 Christ Church, 1877 - circa 1896
Return up Cabell Street to Rivermont Avenue and turn left. Continue on Rivermont through the 5th Street traffic light to the far end of the 600 block.
6 Sites of the first and second St. Paul’s Church, 1826, 1851
Continue on Church Street to 12th Street and turn right at the traffic light. Continue on 12th to the angled intersection with Grace Street. Bear left onto Grace Street. Continue on Grace to the wide intersection with 16th Street. Site is in small park on the right side of Grace.
7 Sites of the first and second Grace Memorial, 1866, 1902
Turn onto 16th Street and continue on 16th to Wise Street. Turn right onto Wise Street and continue to far end of the 1400 block.
8 Chapel of the Good Shepherd, circa 1905 to circa 1969
Continue on Wise, turn left onto 12th to return to New Hampshire Avenue.
